The Carriage House
The Carriage House is nestled in tall pines, palmetto trees and under planted in hydrangeas. Crape Myrtles and iris’s mark the entrance of the winding path that leads to the lake lawn. The carriage house can accommodate 100 guests seated with dancing and 150 guests with a buffet or hors-d’oeuves arrangement. Tents on the open lake lawn can be added to accommodate many additional guests.
The Carriage house contains a second floor honeymoon suite.
The Carriage House Lake Lawn
The Carriage House Lake Lawn can accommodate 300 seated guests and provide stunning views of the landscape, palmetto tree lined drive and mallard pond. The lighted fountain adds sparkle and magic to the evening. The Carriage House Lake Lawn contains several picturesque possibilities for ceremony sites. Wander the paths through the gardens and you will discover two secret gardens just inside the 12’ wrought iron gates – perfect for an intimate small gathering or first look photo spot for the bride and groom.
The Garden Suite
The Garden Suite occupies the second floor of the Carriage House. This unique space contains a one bedroom, 1 and one half bath, gourmet kitchen and a floor to ceiling stone fireplace in the open concept living room. It serves as the perfect spot for an intimate proposal dinner or anniversary celebration.
Ashley Point Marsh
Ancient live oak trees draped in Spanish Moss line the marsh front which extends to the Wando River tidal creek. After a stunning sunset the marsh front comes alive with extensive night up lighting illuminating the majestic oaks. Sweeping landscape beds meet the expansive lawns which can accommodate several tents and the largest of guest list. The dock is lit with path lights for a romantic evening stroll over the marsh. A real stacked stone firepit six feet wide serves as a conversation area to warm the hands and hearts.
